W the paddle guide comes a resulting increase in paddlers and others on the Creek. A work day for volunteers is being scheduled in June of 2018. Through Westampton Fire Company water trail volunteers will be able to get CPR certified which is a insurance requirement; gain a hands-on working knowledge of stokes basket, which will be used in an evacuation of a injured person and other basic, fundamental emergency techniques. Volunteers will also discuss placement locations of water trail markers and get involved in placing markers. This includes turning the Melpine Landing house space into a trail marker workshop.
