Update from Rancocas Creek Book Fair & Forum

From the Community Forum

Participants volunteered ideas and suggestions about various ways to help leverage the resources of Rancocas Creek, and the evolving NWT Initiative, as a practical way of providing additional learning and recreational opportunities for area youths.
In a timely response to this consensus view within the community, RP’s board of directors approved the planning and development of a ‘discovery school’ along the creek at a location to be determined.
John Anderson, RP’s program director, will begin evaluating several sites along the creek, to include historic Mt. Holly where an active partnership exists with the city’s recreation department.  Local officials have expressed strong support of RP’s consistent engagement with area youths and families and the community remains outspoken in its support for a national water trail designation.
