RCWT Steward Program

hey folks, following up emails on rancocas creek water trail stewards…suggest model along these lines… such volunteer anchored program will go a long way to helping along the national water trail nomination. white river water trail steward program. first meeting would be june 19th mt. holly iron works park w overnight encampment. John Water Trail Steward responsibilities. RCWT collaborative approach sustains RCWT water trail stewards. Our long-term goal is to provide safe recreational access to the RCWT by recruiting and supporting stewardship volunteers along the RCWTVolunteer stewardship responsibilities include: Removing trash and debris along the RCWT; Monitoring a specific RCWT area/sgement site once a month from May through September; Gathering data on trash, hazards, and site improvement needs; Collecting trash in the trash bags provided (optional); Reporting data via social media (suggest using ACA data sheets); and Participating in RCWT from the Pines to the Tide Clean-Up in Fall of 2021 (optional).
