Meet at Jeffreeze Ice Cream Stand Rt. 9 West Creek at 10 AM. See map of possible/probable paddle route. Participants must be prepared for open tidal marsh paddling. Wide brimmed hat, paddling gloves, drinking water snacks, PFD, hunter safety orange flashing, dress for prevailing weather conditions, pump, whistle, change of dry clothes…

This scouting trip is a precursor to a Paddling Field Trip on 20 October. Expect to see migratory waterfowl, hawks, sand-pipers and more. Paddle will take place rain or shine
Itinerary – 10 AM meet at Ice Cream Stand. Drive to launch, Paddle 5-6 miles round trip depending on weather conditions. Paddle will take 4-5 hours, be prepared accordingly. Return to launch late afternoon. Return to Jeffreeze Ice Stand.
