The Rancocas Creek tide mill located on the N Branch, eastern border of Timbuctoo has been and continues to be researched. There is little or no doubt in the 1700’s numerous tide mills were found scattered throughout the 36o square mile Rancocas Creek Watershed. At one time the economy of the mostly agriculture character of the watershed needed mills to transfrom corn and grains to flour for transport to markets. This material was presented at the 2016 International Tide Mill Conference, held in Salem Mass. Do not hesitate to zap along questions.
